I grew up with the firm belief that I was in fact a princess, and for the most part, everyone I spent my time with let me continue to think so 😜 With this, I am sure it is not hard to imagine that I wanted a big Disney princess wedding of my dreams! A wedding should be your happily ever after! Of course my dream was to be married right in front of Cinderella’s Castle, buttttt unfortunately that wasn’t in the budget and 16 hours away from home. But that didn’t stop me from having the Disney wedding of my dreams!

The wedding planning started the moment Jesse asked me to be his princess! And I said YES! I couldn’t wait to plan our fairytale wedding and spend our happily ever after together!
I did a lot of Pinterest searches, but I couldn’t decide on one Disney princess to theme my entire wedding off of. So I decided to go strictly Disney, meaning my wedding would be Mickey & Minnie along with all of the princesses magical touches (mostly Beauty and the Beast & Cinderella).
Our Disney Wedding
We had a beautiful Catholic church ceremony and a fun Disney filled reception!
We chose black and red as our wedding colors! We wanted to keep it elegant, but can we also say Mickey Mouse? My bridesmaids wore black floor length dresses and carried bouquets of red roses. Jesse’s groomsmen wore black tuxes with black shirts, black bowties, red suspenders, red rose boutonnieres, and black and red Puma shoes.
My little ring bearers, who were both a year and a half old, wore little black tuxes with Mickey Mouse suspenders and bow ties. They then each carried a single long stem red rose that was a ring box with our rings inside ❤️
My dress was the perfect Disney fairytale princess dress! It was a big ball gown of tulle with bits of shimmer throughout, and the top was strapless with beading. I wore a long veil with Mickey Mouse swavorski crystals and a beautiful tiara! I paired this with a Mickey Mouse necklace that I bought for myself as well as my bridesmaids gifts, along with a Mickey Mouse charm bracelet.
The Decorations and Favors
I wanted my wedding to be elegant and focused on love, all while screaming Disney!
We had a Mickey Mouse shaped cake with a Mickey and Minnie cake topper. Our ice sculpture said LOVE with a Mickey as the O. We even had a Mickey shaped card box that my Mom, Dad and I made.
We had the enchanted rose on our head table, along with our beauty and beast champagne flutes. Our center pieces were floating red roses with falling petals to insinuate Beauty and the Beast. And our table numbers were Disney couples such as Simba and Nala or Aladdin and Jasmine.
As for our favors, we chose engraved Mickey and Minnie coasters with our wedding date.
Invitations and My Bridal Shower
For our wedding invitations we chose a Cinderella themed style that we ordered. As for my bridal shower, we printed invites that had Mickey and Minnie on them and said Be Our Guest.
The shower was Disney themed as well, with Mickey balloons and rose apple pies as the dessert! And my favors were rose shaped compact mirrors.
Our pictures are what really highlight the beautiful memories we have of our perfect day ❤️. We chose to have our pictures taken at a nearby park with an old castle. We even staged a few Cinderella inspired photos along the way.
So I am sure it doesn’t take much to guess that we honeymooned to Disney World! It was truly an amazing trip that Disney cast members make so special!

Our Disney wedding was amazing and everything I imagined all while being in our price point and sharing this day with our friends and families ❤️.
We spent somewhere around $20,000 for our wedding, total…when just the location of Cinderella’s castle at Disney World is $35,000! Holy moly!
My goal is to celebrate a vow renewal in Disney World for our 15 or 20 year mark. We are at 4 so far so we have some time to save! I certainly don’t expect to have a ceremony in front of the castle, but the tree of life is definitely a contender with a MUCH more affordable price tag! (You can check it all out here!)
So have you had a Disney wedding? Tell me all about how you added Disney magic to your day! Are you planning a Disney wedding!?! I hope some of my ideas can help inspire you!
Tip: we used Etsy for our bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts, wedding favors and bridal shower invitations.
I wish you many magical years of love and Disney!
