Our Magic Kingdom Schedule – See it All Without Waking up Early!

So currently, my most popular post on Pinterest is “How to do Disney when you are not a morning person/why you do not have to be a Disney rope drop person”. I wasn’t expecting it to be a popular opinion because so many people push for rope drop as a way to ride popular rides with short wait times. But because it seems to have interested some on how they can still have a great time in Disney without rising before the sun (who can blame them/you?)…I have decided to share what our daily schedules look like for each park. So here you have it! Our Magic Kingdom schedule! If…

Wild Africa Trek Tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Jesse promised me that when I graduated with my master’s degree and got hired somewhere we would celebrate by taking the Wild Africa Trek tour at Animal Kingdom! Well he kept that promise and after I began my teaching career, we took the tour and it was AWESOME!! We actuality weren’t planning on taking the tour just yet. But when we decided to leave a day early for vacation, we had some spare time! We called to see if there was any availability for the next morning and we were in luck! Arrival and check-in Make sure you give yourself enough time to arrive because this tour is all the…

Disney World Resort Quiz! Which Resort is the Best for YOU?

I am at the point in my Disney traveling career (does it count as a career? I think so) that I have a goal to stay at each resort on property! Not only is it for me, but it is also for YOU! Each new resort comes with a new post about that resort and our experiences on that trip (Or even a Disney World resort quiz!)! You’re welcome 😜 But maybe your new to this whole Disney thing, or maybe you just need a break down of what each resort offers to fit your needs! Instead of reading article after article and looking at pictures until you forget what…

Disney Itinerary for a Week Long Vacation

Over all of the years of visiting Disney World, I have pretty much followed the same weekly Disney itinerary for them all! Aside from our split Disney/Universal/Cruise trip, all of our Disney trips have followed a pretty structured week. When we book a Disney vacation, we always check in on a Saturday and check out the following Saturday. This works with Jesse’s vacation time off from work. Since we live about 16 hours away and drive, we leave for our trip on Friday. Sometimes we drive straight through, other times we book a hotel and sometimes we will just stop for a nap at a rest area Check-In Once we…

    Our Daily Disney Schedule

Everyone has a different daily Disney schedule that works for them. Sometimes that means waking up at the crack of dawn, sometimes it means magic hours until 1 in the morning, and sometimes it means a mid afternoon break back at your resort. But no matter the schedule, there is no right or wrong, just a RIGHT for your family! As frequent Disney travelers, our schedule may be a little more “go with the flow” than others, but it works with our sleep/eat/play schedule and provides us the opportunity to do everything important on our list! So here it is, my family’s daily Disney schedule! We are not morning people…

Starbucks at Disney World – Where to Find ALL 6 Locations

Who doesn’t love Starbucks? I’m not even a coffee drinker per say but I love me some good iced Starbucks drinks! Fortunately, Disney has our Starbucks addictions handled because you can find one at all 4 theme parks and 2 at Disney Springs! However, they may not be easy to find for a newbie because they are disguised into the themes of the parks. How sad would it be to be walking down Main Street with your sight set on the castle, only to be interrupted by a huge Starbucks sign sticking out from the shops lining the most magical street in all of Florida? Doesn’t sound magical does it!?!…

Why You DO NOT Have to be a Disney Rope Drop Person

Are you feeling the pressure to be a Disney rope drop person? We all see the pins and read the blogs about how to ride X amount of rides before lunch and it alwayssss starts with arriving to Disney for rope drop. Meaning you are at the park and through bag check, waiting to enter before the park opens! For some people this is great advice! For others…I can’t imagine being up that early unless I’m being forced to be, anyone else? Everyone has a different method of enjoying a Disney Vacation, but sometimes I run into those people that took bad advice that didn’t work for them and they…

    Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

It is hard to argue that the value resorts have some of the best Disney theming on property to make you feel like you are in the middle of the Disney Magic. The value resorts are where you are going to find the larger than life themes straight out of your favorite Disney movies, and Disney’s Art of Animation resort is (in my opinion) the best themed value resort on property. Art of Animation is, on average, the most expensive of the value resorts since 3/4 of the rooms are suites that accommodate 6 guests verses the 1/4 that are standard 4 guest rooms. When we stayed at Art of…

Becoming a Disney Annual Passholder – Is it worth it for you?

So you you may be thinking “I only visit Disney World once per year..why would I need to be a Disney annual passholder.” Well my friend, you may be amazed just how worth it it may be! First off I totally understand that an annual pass packs a BIG price tag! I get it, Disney vacations are already sooo pricey, why would you spend more. But when you actually sit down and figure out how it may actually save you money on other aspects of your trip, it may be completely worth it. And I’m going to help you figure that out right now! Price and Type of Pass Let’s…

Renting Disney Vacation Club Points – Save Money on Deluxe Villas

Before Jesse and I became vacation club members in 2018, we had to find other ways to afford deluxe resorts at Disney World. When we went on our honeymoon we wanted to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (read about this resort here); however we weren’t sure we could afford it with all of the wedding costs. At the time, my sister was already a DVC member so we talked with them about possibly booking with them but unfortunately they didn’t have any points to spare for the year. So I did some research and found out that renting Disney Vacation Club points through 3rd party companies was the answer…
